HOW IT ALL BEGAN
My love and passion for animals started since I was very young. Growing up back in my small home town in Indonesia, I was surrounded by dogs, cats, birds, fish, lizards and even brown bear!
Sadly as I continued my studies in Australia, I had to leave all my pets back at home. Renting, full time study and working part time combo had left me with the option on not having cat/dog.
Met my husband and decided to live here in Melbourne permanently, bought our apartment and yet it was too small for dog of my dream ‘Samoyed’.
Then we bought our current unit and yes finally we have the extra space for a dog, googling around, I decided to have a Japanese Spitz and never look back since 🙂
Natsuko Mochi arrived in our life and she has enhanced our life in so many ways!! She is one healthy dragon we called her! Very energetic one.
Her endless of energy of course needed healthy food to balance it. Fortunately, I love cooking and baking! And I am a qualified Pastry Chef too…
Needless to say, lots of dog friendly cakes and treats have been tested from my kitchen…actually…Mochi’s Kitchen!
Our cakes, cookies and treats are made with human grade ingredients.
Where possible, I will use ethical sourcing ingredients and Australian Grown.
I use Free Range Eggs for all our cakes and cookies.
For meaty cake and cupcakes, the meat options are sourced from RSPCA Approved Chicken, No Added Hormones Beef, Sow Stall Free Pork, lamb and kangaroo.
